Eligibility Requirements for Non-Profits

For U.S.-based Non-Profits:

• Please have your IRS 501(c)(3) designation letter ready
• Sales tax-exempt certificate (if applicable)

For Canadian Non-Profits:

• Please have CRA-required documents, as listed on the CRA website

Eligibility Requirements for Educational Institutions

Qualified institutions in the U.S. and Canada include:

• Accredited K-12 schools (public or private), or associated school districts
• Accredited universities, colleges, and vocational schools that grant degrees (at least two years of full-time study)
• Administrative offices or Boards of Education for qualified institutions
• Government-run schools within U.S. and Canadian territories

Note: Institutions should be accredited by recognized accrediting associations, as approved by the U.S. Department of Education, State Board of Education, Canadian Minister of Education, or Provincial Ministries of Education.

How to Verify a Purchase for an Educational Institution

Your purchase can be verified through one of the following:

• Official purchase order issued by the educational institution
• Credit card with the institution’s name, billing address, and delivery address
• Personal credit card or check payment from faculty or staff, with the institution’s delivery address
